Finished my 2nd playthrough of Lies of P. I would let it rest, but I somehow missed 1 record collectible and I am too obsessed with the game to let it go. Unfortunately, it is almost 3/4 of the way through the game, so on to play through 3... Maybe I will go for the 3rd ending also...

Absolute great game, but boy do I kind of suck at it. Luckily you can cheese your way through most boss battles.

Starting levels over is kind of the point of Deathloop. The whole concept of the game is to find out some information about the area then advancing the day to use the information you found either in the same area or another area. Repeat, over and over again until you have all the info needed to complete all areas in 1 game day. The first few times through a level are the longest. After that you will have some specific goal you can usually knock out in 20 minutes or less.

I thought the game had a cool concept, but became somewhat tedious. The multiplayer is a pain, I turned it off. Might be more forgiving these days as I doubt there are as many people playing.

I find that the combat aspect is more of a nuisance than anything, getting in the way of the puzzle solving.

still playing L4D 1 and 2. I dunno, the classic games seem to be better than the new crap coming out now. If you really want to roll back, UT GOTY 99 is still one of my Fav games. New maps are still coming out. I guess 1999 was a good year after all. lol

Tribes 1 was what I played back then.

Bought it shortly after it was released in 2012. Finally playing through it. Got to the big plot twist yesterday. Getting through the flooded district. Pretty good.

I've wanted to do a replay of that game at some point. I played it on a small screen back then and have a much better setup now.

I'm mostly doing Starfield in the little gaming time I have. The game is tedious but the main and faction quests are interesting enough to keep playing.

If you play Dishonored again make sure you enable SGAA. The game only has FXAA as an AA option. Since it's DX9, SGAA can be enabled and most modern systems have the power to provide high framerate. Not a single aliased edge to be seen.

Yeah I use that in many old games. I think the regular MSAA has to be set to the same value as the SGAA.

I was playing Serious Sam 4, but it was a bit too much for the moment.
So i switched to DOOM eternal which i never finished due to time constraints a few years ago.
I do have to shamefully admit that i am playing DOOM eternal at "Daiper mode" AKA "I'm Too Young to Die".
It is a lot easier though...

Jagged Alliance 3. Very much like Back in action/crossfire. Turn based, squad of 6 mercenaries and an awesome sence of dark humor. Like going teen again. Highly recommended for the action not so much the interaction

Got bored with Dead Space Remake about halfway in, so tried Lies of P. It's so-so, nice graphically but the combat wasn't FromSoft level and I still have two FromSoft games in my backlog (Dark Souls 3 and Demon Souls Remake) so figured no reason to play a Souls knockoff. Probably give Super Mario Wonder a try next.

I have two games going concurrently: a single player for just myself, then my wife and I are playing a co-op together.

The game is so good, my wife convinced me to get a second copy so we could play together. Totally worth it - I've put in over 150 hours in a little over a month according to Steam.

Been playing Alan Wake 2 for the last few days. Story is intriguingly maddening! Game looks absolutely phenomenal even on my budget RX6600. The rendering of light and shadows in this game is unbelievably realistic!

What I don't like is the entire clue finding & case solving approach in the game which makes you constantly shuffle between the map, case and profiling board and the actual gameplay... I find this shuffling takes me away from the immersion which I particularly dislike so far. Another quibble I have in the game is the combat, specially if confronted by enemies up-close it just feels bad.

Both Bannerlord finally received it's 1.2 patch that we've been waiting for since June and Grim Dawn got it's major 1.2 overhaul patch a month ago so I've been stuck with those games.

Ended up going back to Lies of P and it really hooked me this time. Now gotta try to speedrun it in the next three days or I'll have to pay Game Pass another $10 to finish lol with nothing else I'm interested in on it until Persona 3 Reload in February.

I finished Deathloop so now I'm going back to solve some more puzzles. I would like more trinket slots as I would have liked to try out more trinkets without having to give up the critical ones.

I think I'm almost done lies of P. I have it on computer and while I'm not so good at these type of games, elden ring has gotten me into souls like game more than usual.

I'm stuck on the door guardian boss right now. Sometimes I feel like my inputs don't register too. What is most annoying is your stamina is taken away with the shock affect when he hits you and it's hard to get an attack on the right leg.

Doom Eternal really hasn't grabbed me either. I liked Doom 2016, but the format of Eternal seemingly being "you entered another area, you are now surrounded by enemies" just isn't my thing. I fired up Doom 2016 again and right from the start it's a bit more plot-driven. I think Eternal needed to pick up where 2016 left off to have pulled me in a bit more.

I'm playing Horizon Zero Dawn for the first time, kinda. I'm about an hour into the plot, a little after the Proving. I don't know whether my general mood is lower than it ought to be, or maybe this game hasn't pulled me in as much as other games in the last ten years have, but I often just fire up a half-hour game of StarCraft 2 co-op maybe because I don't want to get sucked into a new game and say end up playing late nights (I highly value a good night's sleep!).
