Bro that looks delicious! A few times a month we get our stir fry on but nothing like that.made a red miso, eggplant, tomato and udon dish I mentioned in another thread. first photo. Dinner from this weekend, did just my own tiny riff on a stir-fry. ground pork, grated fresh ginger, soy, onions, garlic, shitake, oyster mushrooms, bean sprouts, eggs, msg, scallions over rice cooked in broth, side of kimchi
Shot of the stir fry pushed to the side to get the eggs going, and the final product.

My wife has spent the last few days making mincemeat (which is, bizarrely, what the filling in mince pies is called) and Christmas puddings! They are pretty much my favourite Christmas foods! My sister came over today and her and my wife made a mince pie for Thanksgiving. It's a traditional recipe first originating in the UK I think but don't quote me on that.
Here's a pic of the filling which includes figs, dates, raisins, and cherries among other ingredients

I can see why. I haven't tried the final pie yet because it's for Thursday but when I tried the filling it was unlike anything I've tasted before. Granted we don't do a lot of traditional British cooking but the flavor profile was very tasty! My wife has spent the last few days making mincemeat (which is, bizarrely, what the filling in mince pies is called) and Christmas puddings! How did you find the mince pie?I can see why. I haven't tried the final pie yet because it's for Thursday but when I tried the filling it was unlike anything I've tasted before. Granted we don't do a lot of traditional British cooking but the flavor profile was very tasty!
It was really good! Once it was baked and the filling mixed together under the heat the end result was amazing. It was a hit at Thanksgiving too. So many people commented on how good it was and how they have never tasted anything like it before. How did you find the mince pie?
Mostly desserts? I can find you a sticky toffee pudding and a treacle sponge! It was really good! Once it was baked and the filling mixed together under the heat the end result was amazing. The positive feedback got us more interested in British cooking. If you got any recipes let me know. I'd love to try them.
Sorry for the late reply I forgot about this thread until tonight. I'll take any recipe you want to share. Desserts or otherwise we are all about trying new foods at least once.Mostly desserts? I can find you a sticky toffee pudding and a treacle sponge!
