I would honestly respect "I am a Russian and here is honestly how I feel/the facts I have that inform this anti-American viewpoint" so much more than the "aww shucks y'all hate foreigners" bullshit.

My parents are "foreigners". I have spent months/years in India when growing up. I don't hate foreigners. I understand that not all players have the same interests, the Indian elements of my family always showed a sort of weird love/hate thing when it came to America when growing up so I totally get the simultaneous admiring/jealous/terrified/legitimate grievance thing a lot of non-Americans have toward the US.

I won't necessarily agree with , but at least the dialogue would be honest.

I blame you for your dishonesty, because that's a choice that you personally made and no one has forced on you. Nothing in the post you quoted "blamed foreigners" for anything. It said that honesty and transparency is important for honest dialog.
