I got my 7800X3D system put together over the weekend. Updated to the latest UEFI, loaded up the EXPO profile, manually set the SOC & memory controller voltages to 1v & 1.1v. Those were the auto voltages when running default JEDEC. Loading the EXPO made the mobo up them to 1.275 & 1.3 which seems completely unnecessary. I ran Cinebench and played some games . Everything seems to be working great and performing as expected. Usually I'd be tweaking a new CPU to the edge of stability to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of it but I'm tempted just leave this one alone. I'm not sure making the time investment to undervolt and OC the RAM is going to be worth it for the performance gain.

I'm using 2 SW3 (high speed versions) for front intake (1 top 1 bottom), 2 for exhaust (1 rear 1 top rear), and 2 on the PS120 SE heatsink. I'd prefer to use 3 intake 1 exhaust but my GPU is too long and I can't run a middle fan up front in this case. All seems well though as CB2024 runs steady at 77c with occasional peaks to 79c and GPU temps are great while gaming. The Thermalright phantom spirit heatsink is REALLY good! Especially with quality fans on it. I'd be interested to see how it does with the newer SW4 high speed or pro fans. Those are supposed to be even better than these.
Thermalight coolers with upgraded fans really seems to be the way to go these days vs buying $80+ air coolers. The stock fans actually work quite well, they're just questionable quality wise, and tend to have/develop whining noises. I've tried several of their newer offerings (mostly different peerless assassin versions) and all of them have performed really well. I also built 5800x and 3600 based systems this weekend with Thermalright heatsinks (peerless assassin 120 & assassin king 120) that are killing it.
