Counter top induction "hot plates" are pretty cheap. The bigger problem might be your pots, since they need at least a bottom that's ferrous

I considered one at one point, but I didn't want to sacrifice my counter space, and the somewhat new glass top electric in our rental is fine for what we need.

Definitely have compatible pans already since they all pass the magnet test.

we have something similar to this LG double oven range, and will put something similar in the new house.
We love having two ovens.

I have cooked with induction and yes, it is great.
I'll get a two burner portable and put it on the island when needed, and also use it upstairs in the "kitchen" in the common area.

I bought 21700 batteries for my UV flashlight. I had to get them from a vape shop as vaperators are the most common use for the batteries.

With a 20% members coupon, plus my REI yearly rewards, and some REI credit card cashback, figured I'd replace my 20 year old low-end hatchet with something higher end that will last the rest of my camping life. Mostly to split wood. Hults Bruk Almike Hatchet - forged in Sweden, well-reviewed, I'll take it. A nice flexible 16" too. The Meze 109pro headphones are in the photo as they are on my entrance table to be cleaned then photographed, to be sold.

My kitchen sink jammed up & I ended up having to get a new garbage disposal. I went with a knockoff brand instead of an Insinkerator this time. They had it on-sale in-store for $99, I really lucked out!! Specs are great: one horsepower with a 12-year in-home warranty.

Waste King!! Still made in USA last I checked...and not expensive.

Funny enough my folks needed to replace theirs recently. It didn't leak...basically the rotor rusted off the motor shaft! It was easily 20 years old; they hardly use the thing.

eh? there are electric tankless as well. and no, your water is not 0C. It is silly to go 50 gallon tank for 1 person.
I have 2 50 gallon waters heaters for 3 people. I shut one of them down. I may even install a by pass valve and drain the unused one.

I'm surprised. Every Glacier Bay product I've ever come across was garbage. But a 12 year in home warranty is seriously high end. I might have to look into this as my wife hates our disposal.

It's a dice roll...I've never heard of the brand. The plumber wanted $850 just the disposal portion. Going the DIY route for $99. Wish me luck lol.

I typically use mesh sink strainer from the dollar store to prevent anything from going into the pipes in the first place. The kitchen sink pipe locked up for no apparent reason, then the garbage disposal died. It's more of an emergency/backup sort of device for me. So $99 fit my garbage disposal worldview a little better lol.

There was a really nice 3-stage unit for triple the price though. Went from big to medium to small particles. But $300 vs. a $99 knockoff brand with more horsepower & a longer warranty...hopefully it works out LOL

Home Depot owns the brand. We put our organic waste in a bin for it and it is collected weekly. Cooking oil in container and goes out with the organic waste.

Disposal is an easy install. Just be sure to remove the knockout if you have a dishwasher.
