Red Squirrel
No Lifer
Oh. I thought it was a toilet paper holder for when you do it from the top of a tree. When you gotta go you gotta go.
That's right, squirrels do it that way, don't they?Oh. I thought it was a toilet paper holder for when you do it from the top of a tree. When you gotta go you gotta go.
Haven’t cut myself (yet - knock on wood) on my table saw but did take a nice bruise to my abdomen from kickback on my old shitty craftsman job site table saw. No riving knife and a shitty fence meant it was easy to wedge a work piece.I did a rip cut into my index finger a year or so back. Not as painful as one would think, though I did miss the bone. Really surprising though.
I have a pic if anyone is interested.
I actually don't know exactly how I did it. My hand was at least 6" from the blade, there was a bang, and my finger was split. This was on a full size cast iron saw with a riving knife and a quality fence. My first accident using a table saw after 50 years of use.Haven’t cut myself (yet - knock on wood) on my table saw but did take a nice bruise to my abdomen from kickback on my old shitty craftsman job site table saw. I was happy to move up to a modern dewalt jobsite saw that actually had a riving knife and a stable fence last year. Would have got a Saw Stop if it was little cheaper and had t ready some derogatory reviews about the fence system.
Well that's literally probably what a toilet on his off-grid Castle is going to actually end up being like. So not a stretch. That's right, squirrels do it that way, don't they?
Those saws have so much power that once it grabs a piece your hand is along for the ride Glad you kept your finger.I actually don't know exactly how I did it. You're going to loop and rip your nuts off.
Meh. Just make some jigs. Probably cost $300.300 dollars worth of white oak to repair a bench I bought for 300 dollars 30 years ago. Now I have to buy tools to replace the tools I gave away to do the project..
8 3/4X3X48 and one 3/4x6x48 . Not a freakin lot. I talked to some woodworkers though. They said if it is taken care of it should last a lifetime. How much white oak does $300 get you?
