It's a 675w UPS. I have had some power issues latestly and only need it to save my PC from the weird surges and stuff. I only turned on CPU folding today to see what it would do. I just bumped it down to 2 cores and it hovers under 360w

Apparently my UPS hates the folding. Full cores + GPU causes the load to increase north of 360w. Normally it hovers around 140w. .

I have a UPS hooked up and the PowerChute software (configured at 10 cents per kwh) says the PC costs 40 cents a day while idle. It has gone up to 84 centers per day while folding. I have also run tests with a kill-a-watt in the past and found that $10-$15 a month just for my PC is about...

I usually limit my GPU prices to $300, but if you go to GPU 2017 bench and look at the benchmarks, the only card that is close in price (for me) is the RX 580 (running around $330 for the 8GB). Based on your price range it might be that fits your range as well. The 1070s are running closer to...

Looking for a basic compact laser printer

I also have a Brother HL-2140 and it has lasted so long it's really amazing. Based on this I would look at another Brother, but I agree with mikeymikec that the toner costs and yields are a major factor.

AMD RYZEN Builders Thread

This game really seems like a BF3.5... but I pre-ordered it. Seriously, every time I order a Battlefield game, I get a ridiculous amount of fun times out of it. It's worth the money every time. Commander mode, bigger squads, and more players per server... The graphics may not be a huge step...

Well Anandtech does sell ads... and Intel is smart enough to buy ads to such a targeted audience. I don't expect Anandtech to turn down Intel's money because Intel products are on the page... I think you're being a little too paranoid.
