I did a rip cut into my index finger a year or so back. Not as painful as one would think, though I did miss the bone. Really surprising though.

I have a pic if anyone is interested.

Haven’t cut myself (yet - knock on wood) on my table saw but did take a nice bruise to my abdomen from kickback on my old shitty craftsman job site table saw. No riving knife and a shitty fence meant it was easy to wedge a work piece.

I was happy to move up to a modern dewalt jobsite saw that actually had a riving knife and a stable fence last year. Would have got a Saw Stop if it was little cheaper and had t ready some derogatory reviews about the fence system.

Those saws have so much power that once it grabs a piece your hand is along for the ride Glad you kept your finger.

Good reminder to me to be more diligent about using push sticks and maybe even the blade guard.

This was kinda spur of the moment given today was a work day, but decided to go to Canadian Tire and got a new AGM battery for the ATV as the old one was completely dead, think it had a bad cell. Installed it and was able to start it right up. Going to wire in a battery tender as well, it's something I should have done from the start.

Also had a leaky tire that I got fixed so now my ATV is all set. I can't wait to bring it to my off grid property and actually use it. Been sitting in my garage for over a year. I kinda jumped the gun on buying it. I got a little excited when I got my property and started buying stuff right away without a place to even put it.

8 3/4X3X48 and one 3/4x6x48 . Not a freakin lot. I talked to some woodworkers though. They said if it is taken care of it should last a lifetime.

1937 white oak, refinished once. Yep, that'll last all of our lifetimes. Outside bench...not so long.

The mini PC I ordered came in yesterday, installed Linux Mint on it and it works SO MUCH BETTER than the Raspberry PI that was there before. All setup as my new HTPC. SNES for scale. These are really cool little machines.

I eventually want to buy like a dozen of them to make a VM cluster. Maybe in like a year or so from now. Still have money to spend on power upgrades so will finish that first. I might also design a custom blade chassis for them, it would look kind of cool having a bunch lined up vertically in the rack.

Forgive the terrible cable management. I just shove stuff in there and call it good lol.

Got me a new, but used, old mans bicycle!
My 2nd Townie, this one is grip shift rather than my old trigger shift. So damn comfortable to cruise around on!

As much as I'd like a "road bike" I'm not willing to risk death on the bay area roads. Those guys who rides west of Woodside have balls of steel and way too much faith in drivers! I'll stick to my Peloton!
